- Sea the difference -

ECONYL® against plastic waste in our oceans

It is very important to us that our swimwear doesn't just look great – we want it to have a positive impact  on  our  oceans and the environment.

In close cooperation with various organisations, the manufacture of ECONYL® involves the retrieval of so-called "ghost nets" from the oceans. These are the nets which are simply cut loose in the sea by fishing trawlers. They are often kilometres in length and create horrible death traps for thousands of sea creatures.

The use of waste materials not only means that production processes save large amounts of crude oil, it also reduces waste overall and contributes to the efforts of cleaning the world oceans.

After all: we want to continue to think of beautiful turquoise waters, colourful coral reefs and iridescent schools of fish playing in the sunlight when talking about our oceans.

The one-piece with elegant, contrasting colour block stripes is not just a real head-turner, and also contributes to the preservation of our environment.

The high-quality material ECONYL® also features an extremely good chlorine and sea water resistance.

Sustainably manufactured and with a special packaging that is biodegradable and dissolves in sea water, Rosa Faia Beachwear follows through with "Eco Rosa" as a truly environmentally friendly product.
